OAK LANE – BARSTON

If this is unknown how many more are available in the rather pretty Solihull MBC area? And how can it be used and ‘defended’ if it’s inaccessible and hard to find it’s status/line?

The road continues to Oak Farm as Tarmac
Half way along at SP 20715 78637 this track has a large gate, it drives along a dirt track up until the footpath,
My car is at the end and where the footpath starts, this area is pretty much looks like a mud pit with deep tracks from agricultural vehicles
The footpath looks suspiciously like most UCR’s and drivable at least from this point SP 20685 78837
Back on Oak Lane, there are at least two of these home made signs.
At SP 20915 78740 you’d continue straight on if it wasn’t for this stumbling block! The object on the far left is not a Stile it is a brick wall with some form of drainage into the ditch.
The official NSG route showing the line of the track through the above garden, The data does not indicate a through route though,-
